You can make changes to your Willful account details at any time, including your email, password, and personal information. Keeping your information up to date helps ensure your documents are accurate and your account remains secure.
What account details can I update?
You can update the following details from your account settings:
Email address
Password
You can update the following details from Step 1 About you
Legal name
Where you live (city and province)
Date of birth
How to update your account information
Updating your email address
Log in at app.willful.co.
Click the menu in the top right corner and select Account settings.
Under the Your Account section, click on your email address.
Enter your new email address, confirm it, and enter your current password.
Click update to save your changes.
Updating your password
To change your password from within your account:
Log in at app.willful.co.
Click the menu in the top right corner and select Account settings.
Under the Your Account section, click on Change your password.
Enter your current password, then your new password twice to confirm it.
Click update to save your changes.
Security tip: Use a unique and strong password that you don’t use for other services.
If you forgot your password:
Go to the login page and click Forgot your password?
Enter the email you used for your Willful account, and then click Send me instructions.
Click on Reset Password from the email to open the password reset page.
Enter your new password twice to confirm it, then click Continue to save it.
Tip: Check your spam folder if you don’t see the reset email. Make sure you're using the email address associated with your account.
Updating your plan
Log in at app.willful.co.
Click the menu in the top right corner and select Account settings.
Scroll down to view your current plan details.
Click the upgrade plan or change plan button.
Follow the prompts to select and confirm your new plan.

Update your name
Log in at app.willful.co.
Click the menu in the top right corner and select Will & POA.
You’ll see Steps 1-4 listed -> click See More on Step 1 About you
Click Edit next to Full legal name, make your changes, and click Continue
Update where you live
Log in at app.willful.co.
Click the menu in the top right corner and select Will & POA.
You’ll see Steps 1-4 listed -> click See More on Step 1 About you

Update your date of birth
Log in at app.willful.co.
Click the menu in the top right corner and select Will & POA.

Will updating my information change my documents?
No, updating your account details will not automatically update your legal documents. If you've made a legal name change or moved to a new province, you'll need to manually update and reprint your documents. While the name change will take effect in your Willful account, any finalized legal documents will need to be downloaded, reprinted, and signed and witnessed again to reflect the change.
